side note

everyone, and i mean everyone that we meet and tell we are from america, their next comment is, "American? Obama!" then we slightly nod our heads and say yes. they ask what part of American, we say Texas, and they say, "Texas? Texas is for Bush!? baa!"

just thought it was interesting that everyone in Europe knows America has a new president and cares so much about it and immediately associates us with Obama! yikes
